Propaganda

This is my Kony poster, it's not perfect and was rushed. I don't follow the "Kony Movement" because I think it's BS, but I couldn't think of anything else to do my poster about. I should have taken my time instead of messing around. If I could change my poster I would have it show the corruption of the Invisible Children organization or how the U.S. is economically imperializing the world.

Kony 2012

Joseph Kony is a terrible person for what he is doing and should have more attention. He must be brought to justice. Today's people spread this around around like wild fire with the various ways of social networking. I can't log onto Facebook without seeing something relating to him. It kind of saddens me because Invisible Children has come to Lincoln and I've seen their presentations at least 3 times and everybody just brushes it off. For about the first week they want to do something, but then get lazy and dismiss it. Now that it is gaining international traction, suddenly it matters.

Updated Kayd logo

This is my updated Kayd logo. It is a camel made out of the words Kayd. It's much different than my last idea, but still uses the same concept. More work is still to be done to it, but it's pretty good for a rough draft of this new idea. At first it was difficult to arrange all the letters and make it still look sort of like a camel.

Kayd Foundation Logo

This is my logo for the Kayd Foundation. I think the idea is good, but I didn't do a great job of illustrating my idea. The tree is supposed to be the letter "Y" in the word "Kayd". I need to fix the letters and I didn't include a camel. A camel is supposed to symbolize something and that's what Mr, Mohammed wanted to be in it. I think my idea is good, but is lacking in some areas, like a camel. I plan on fixing it by adding some stuff and I might just scrap the idea all together.

Commercial

This is the finished commercial for our product "Fruity Rockets". It was really fun to make and it came out  good. We could have improved a little bit, but I like it the way it is (mainly because I was the "actor") It took us about a week to write the script and film, and another 3 days to look for sound effects.

Packaging

This is a picture of our group and all the packaging we used to make a commercial of a fictional product we had to create. We all had fun designing the product packaging then "bringing it to life." The best part was using the props to film and edit our commercial for Fruity Rockets.

Live From The Hive Logo

This is my live from the hive logo, it's not really "mine" because it was a collaboration between the whole class. It did turn out nice, I  like the microphone I made because it took some time and turned out well. There is a lot I could have improved on. I didn't add much more to this from the one the class used. I mainly just added the microphone and text. If I could redo it, I would have a background. Probably with green hexagons or something similar to that.
